Important ICBC Policy Update (Effective October 19, 2026)
- The Class 5 Road Test is Being Eliminated!
- ICBC is removing the second road test in favor of a Driving Record Assessment. Because of this change, taking an ICBC-approved GLP course is now the ONLY way drivers under 25 can shorten their Novice (N) stage from 24 months down to 18 months.
Fast-Track Options for Adult Learners (Ages 25+)
Are you an adult learner balancing work and family? Under the new ICBC regulations:
- **Learner (L) Phase:** Shortened from 12 months to **9 months**.
- **Novice (N) Phase:** Shortened from 24 months to **12 months**.
